The Insurance Society of Chicago has served the Chicago-area insurance, risk management, and financial services community for nearly 50 years. In 1999, the Society’s operating arm, the Insurance School of Chicago, celebrated its 30th anniversary. Thanks to the support of dozens of area employers, the Insurance School has helped  thousands of  students broaden their knowledge, enhance their skills, and learn to deal professionally and ethically with the challenges of a rapidly changing industry.

As the School explores new instructional approaches in response to industry change, the Society itself is changing, and we would like to invite you to become a Society member. The following  response form spells out the benefits and costs of Society membership. If your employer elects to become a Society member, you’ll have access to some of these benefits as an employee – but we hope you’ll also want to become a Society member yourself.

The primary mission of the Society and the School is to foster quality education and training programs to strengthen the professionalism and ethical standards of those who work in insurance, risk management, and financial services in the greater Chicago area. By enrolling in ISC classes and seminars over the years, many have already made an important commitment to this vital mission. We hope you will formalize this commitment by joining the Insurance Society of Chicago now.
